Three drug dealers have been locked up after police searched their car because it was being driven suspiciously.
Police spotted the VW Golf in the early hours of June 15, 2022, while on patrol in South Shields.
Newcastle Crown Court heard they noticed the car because it appeared to be trying to avoid officers.
It parked up on Dacre Street, South Shields, where Nahid Miah lived, and his brother Muhon Miah and Monsur Miah were also inside it.
When the vehicle was searched, police found small packets of white powder, £50 in cash and three mobile phones.
Nahid Miah was in possession of £330 in cash and a small bag of white powder. His bedroom was also searched and police found 19.7g of cocaine, more than £660 cash and two sets of scales.
Muhon Miah had £205 on him and Monsur Miah had £657.85 in cash.
At his home, further quantities of cash were recovered and police found 93 MDMA tablets, 108 grip-seal bags of cocaine weighing a total of 41g, a further 29g of cocaine and 475g of cannabis, along with bundles of cash.
