Bloodstains on bed sheets led police to 'prolific' burglar

BLOODSTAINS recovered from bed sheets and a wardrobe have led to the capture of a prolific burglar responsible for a series of break-ins across Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks.

Freddie Webb targeted properties of victims while they were on holiday, ransacking their homes to steal jewellery, watches and cash.
Webb carried out four burglaries between January 17 and April 5, when he would gain entry by breaking the windows of patio doors.
A police investigation matched his DNA to several crime scenes, including addresses in Frant Road and Broadwater Down in Tunbridge Wells, and from a victim's home near Sevenoaks High Street.
