WOLVES' WORST YET LEAVES PEREIRA IN PERILOUS POSITION

THE conversation between Wolves fans and Vitor Pereira was one-way at full-time.

"Sacked in the morning" came the cry from the away end at Craven Cottage.

There was no remonstration like there was at Molineux last Sunday from the winless Portuguese boss as he stood in front of them.

How could there be, after this limp surrender?

And afterwards, Pereira branded Wolves' performance as their worst since he took over as boss.

He said: "Today I felt my team physically were not in condition, not at the level to face Fulham.

"Tactically with some mistakes, technically we were not there at the best level.

"But me and my staff are trying everything to help the team to perform and get results."

More concerning for those who travelled from the Black Country was the sight of Alan Pardew in the stands, with Pereira one week away from an international, and likely permanent, break.
