Youth pact 'a betrayal of Brexit'

LABOUR has been accused of plotting a “Brexit betrayal” by signing a proposed youth mobility deal with the European Union.

Brexiteers fear it will be a “foot in the door” for the return of freedom of movement.

It comes as EU leaders will attend a London summit on May 19.

European relations minister Nick Thomas-Symonds confirmed Labour was looking at a deal allowing youngsters from the UK and member states to come to each others’ countries.
