O'Neill jokes he's hiding vital paperwork
MARTIN O'NEILL joked he's hidden Wilfried Nancy's Parkhead paperwork after firing Celtic back to within striking distance of the top of the Premiership.
The Hoops legend made it six wins out of seven - five wins of five domestically - with yesterday's battling 2-1 victory at Hibs.
O'Neill said he was gearing up to take his farewell bow at Easter Road, only to be told on the eve of the showdown he will now be needed for Wednesday's clash with Dundee at Celtic Park.
Nancy's deal has been caught up in red tape but Celts who have a Premier Sports Cup Final against St Mirren in just under a fortnight are confident they will have their new man in the dugout before the top-of-the-table clash with Hearts in Glasgow's east end on Sunday.
But not if O'Neill has his way as the stand-in boss said: "It's a wee bit strange, to be honest.
"I was joking that whatever has happened to the paperwork, I have no idea-maybe I'm hiding it! "I don't know whether they can't sign a little document, I'm not sure.
"It would be nice if it lasted a bit longer, maybe until after the final.

IT'S A FAMILY AFFAIR
A little goes a very long way in the third chapter of director James Cameron's blockbusting franchise. Avatar: Fire And Ash is a masterclass in candyfloss storytelling, expertly fluffing around an hour of linear plot and character development into more than three hours of jaw-dropping visual spectacle that continues to push the envelope for performance capture technology.
