UNITED SWOOP IN FOR KEEPER FROM CHARLTON

DUNDEE UNITED have made a move for Charlton Athletic keeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer.
The Terrors are closing in on a deal with the English Championship side to sign the 26-year-old on a permanent basis.
Maynard-Brewer has been given the green light to travel north to complete his Tannadice switch and is expected to sign a long-term deal.
The Australian is capped at under-23 level and knows a good run of form between now and the summer could also open the door for him to gatecrash the Socceroos’ World Cup squad.
United already have fellow Australians Ryan Strain and Zac Sapsford, who both have similar dreams and ambitions for this summer.
