TV's Lee: Sitcoms are now big 'risk'

COMEDIAN Lee Mack insists making an "old-fashioned" studio sitcom is a big "risk" ahead of the new series of Not Going Out.
The hit BBC comedy has clocked up 100 episodes and was recently given the green light for two more series, cementing its status as the longest-running UK sitcom currently on air.
It was created and written by Lee, who stars alongside Sally Bretton.
On the show’s longevity, the comic said: “We'll never catch up with Last of the Summer Wine. Thank God.
