Clues... test can point out signs of trouble
A MAN has gone on trial accused of trying to murder a toddler by stepping in front of a moving train while holding him.
Frederick Danquah allegedly assaulted the two-year-old at Garrowhill station in Glasgow.
It is alleged the 28-year-old placed the boy, who was in his care, on his shoulders and stepped in front of a moving train in July 2023.
The train is said to have struck Danquah and the boy to his severe injury, danger of life and attempted murder.
Yesterday, at the High Court in Glasgow, the defendant faced a separate charge of recklessly carrying the boy on his shoulders and thereafter repeatedly attempting to climb over a fence on the M8 public footbridge.
