Teachers union 'far right' slur blasted

SCOTLAND'S largest teaching union has been blasted for branding probusiness people and gender cri | women “far right".

The Educational Institution of Scotland (EIS) published a briefing called “Fighting the Influence of the Far Right” where it makes sweeping descriptions of the far right.

Reform politicians and supporters are all labelled “far right" and the union used the example of the Scottish Government not inviting the party to John Swinney's “anti far right summit" in April.

Party leader Nigel Farage has firmly rejected the label.
