Survivor of mushroom murderer feels only 'half alive' as he mourns wife

MUSHROOM murderer Erin Patterson stole “years of love and laughter” when she killed three people with poisoned beef wellington, family members told a court yesterday.

Sole survivor Ian Wilkinson, whose wife Heather, 66, died, said he felt only “half alive” without her.

The other victims were Heather's sister and brother-in-law Gail and Don Patterson, who were 70 and the parents of Erin’s estranged husband Simon. He decided not to attend the lunch in July 2023 at the last minute.
