Space station astronaut is a Ukrainian deserter

A FORMER Ukrainian pilot who defected to Russia is now an astronaut on the International Space Station.
Alexey Zubritsky, 32, was branded a deserter by Kyiv and sentenced to 15 years in his absence. He had been an attack aircraft pilot for the 204th Sevastopol Brigade in 2013.
