LANDO NORRIS said he was glad he did not take out team-mate Oscar Piastri after crashing into his title rival at the Canadian Grand Prix.
Norris crashed out after hitting the back of Piastri's McLaren late in a Formula One race won by fellow Brit George Russell, left.
Championship leader Piastri was able to finish fourth and received an immediate apology from Norris, both over the radio and then in person.
