Shops and beer gardens ready for heatwave

SCOTLAND will wake to the dawn of a weekend heatwave this morning with temperatures hotter than Rio de Janeiro.
It will bring a much-needed boost to the country's hospitality sector while supermarkets are expecting bumper trade. Aviemore in the Highlands has been tipped to hit 29C (84F), which would make it easily the hottest day of the year.
