THE 2,000 Guineas defeat aboard Field Of Gold has cost Kieran Shoemark his job as No 1 jockey to John and Thady Gosden’s Clarehaven stable.
Sent off the 15-8 favourite for the Betfred-sponsored Newmarket Classic on Saturday, the grey son of Kingman was closing at the finish but went under by half a length to the William Buick-partnered Ruling Court at the line.
