'Selfish' 90mph drunk driver admits killing grandad Jim

A DRUNK driver whose “selfish disregard” killed a grandad in a 90mph-plus crash has been warned he faces a lengthy time behind bars.

Callum Fox struck pedestrian Jim Paterson after earlier visiting a cocktail bar with friends who had implored him not to drive when he left.

However, the 29-year-old got behind the wheel of his Mercedes AMG A45 despite being two-and-a-half times over the blood alcohol limit.
