Scot spy accused ‘put ads on Russian social media’

A SCOTTISH man accused of spying for Vladimir Putin in Ukraine advertised his services on pro-Russian social media groups, prosecutors claim.
Ross David Cutmore was detained in Kyiv and appeared in court in October, although the extraordinary details of the case only emerged on Tuesday.
The 40-year-old, from Dunfermline in Fife, travelled to the war-torn country in January 2024 to train recruits in the southern city of Mykolaiv.
