Rangers add two to ranks

RUSSELL MARTIN expects Rangers to reap the rewards of serial winner Joe Rothwell becoming one of two new signings yesterday.
The Light Blues fought off competition from Spain to land the 30-year-old Bournemouth midfielder on a three-year contract.
Rothwell was later joined by centre-half Emmanuel Fernandez, the 23-year-old leaving Peterborough to pen a four-year deal at Ibrox.
Gers manager Martin knows Rothwell well, the pair having worked together during a loan stint that saw them lead Southampton back to the Premier League via the 2024 play-off final.
The player was farmed out again last term, helping Leeds United to 2025 Championship glory.
