Lulamba and Kopek stake Arkle claims

CRACKERJACK two-mile chasers Kopek Des Bordes and Lulamba turned up the heat in the novice division yesterday.

Giving racing fans a rare treat for a Monday afternoon, the Arkle Chase hopefuls were in action on either side of the Irish Sea.

British-trained four-year-old Lulamba was first to strike, in the Royal Oak Heavitree Beginners’ Chase at Exeter.
