WHEN it comes to your money, Labour and the SNP are two sides of the same coin - and they'll be taking it, and plenty more of it, out of your pocket.

These two left-wing parties seem not to have a single idea in their heads other than the notion that they can keep on raising taxes.

And the fact that they repeatedly promised not to do so doesn't hold them back for a moment.

They talk about economic growth, though higher taxes as we have already seen with Labour's disastrous hike in National Insurance and the SNP's higher rate of income tax are a huge brake on companies' ability to expand.

They are the enemy of growth. They cost jobs. The higher costs these taxes impose on firms drives inflation which, by pushing up the cost of living in every area, essentially becomes yet another tax.

One that affects everyone, and hits the poorest hardest of all.
