Pub of the Year worker's racism claims rejected

A BLACK kitchen porter who was fired from an award-winning pub claimed he had been a victim of race discrimination because colleagues put bottles of vinegar near him.

Willer Lafeuillee claimed they did it to “send a message” because the last two syllables of vinegar sound like the N-word
He also claimed he was discriminated against by being served an overdone steak at 2023 Pub of the Year The Running Horses pub in Dorking, Surrey.
A tribunal, held virtually, heard he was sacked for “unprofessional and confrontational” behaviour after just six weeks at the pub, run by Little & Large Inns, in early 2024.
