One-in-five adults will not look for employment

SCOTTISH ministers have been slated after it emerged more than one-in-five adults does not look for work, with their lifestyles funded by hardworking people.

It comes amid continued SNP boasts about having one of the most generous benefits systems in the UK.

A total of 621,300 Scots aged 16 to 64 are “economically inactive”, a parliamentary reply to the Lib Dems reveals.
