GLASGOW'S Jamie Dobie wants no half measures this time as he looked forward to this Saturday's 1872 Cup second leg after a 24-12 win over Edinburgh at Hampden.

The Warriors are halfway to winning the cup on aggregate for a third year in succession after beating the capital club 24-12 in Saturday's first leg at football’s national stadium.

But versatile back Dobie wants his team to celebrate in style by doing something they couldn't manage in 2023 or 2024 by winning the second leg as well.

Two years ago, Glasgow won the first leg by 12 points but lost the return by five.

Last year they had the cup in the bag after a 33-14 win at Hampden. But, even though they still won easily on aggregate, losing the second leg by three points meant the trophy lift had a slight air of disappointment about it.
