Medal for Coronation route guru 72 years on

A 94-YEAR-OLD retired police chief who helped plan Queen Elizabeth II's 1953 Coronation has at last been presented with a medal for the job.
City of London Police's former Chief Superintendent Alan Francis spent 15 months working on a procession map, but was overlooked for an award due to an administration error.
Now he has been formally honoured with the Queen's Coronation Medal after officers heard about his plight and investigated his case.
