Lions' special kit tribute to hero Doddie

THE British and Irish Lions rugby team have released a special training kit in honour of the late Doddie Weir.
The red and tartan range of jerseys, shorts, t-shirts and fleeces feature the logo of the late Scotland international's charity and the number 670 - Weir's Lions shirt number.
Weir, who passed away aged 52 in November 2022 following a six-year battle with motor neurone disease (MND), won 61 caps for Scotland and was selected for the 1997 Lions Tour of South Africa.
A serious knee injury cut the 1997 tour short, but he praised the experience as one of the "best of his career".
