ALEXANDROS KYZIRIDIS admits he was made an offer he couldn't refuse when Hearts came calling this summer.

The Greek winger delivered a tantalising taste of the trickery and attacking threat he's aiming to showcase to the Tynecastle fans with a goal and assist against Stirling on Saturday.

That 4-0 League Cup win may have been a stroll for Derek McInnes's side, but the 24-year-old is adamant it was the starting point for his personal ambitions after jumping at the chance to sign on with the Jambos.

He said: "When you have one offer from such a huge club, you cannot say no. So I like the project. I like Scottish football and the fans celebrate every game. So yes, this was what I was thinking about before I said 'yes' to signing for Hearts.

"It was very easy decision as I said before and I'm really happy that I made this decision.

"Before I came, I was watching the games, so I could see how the fans are, how the team are so I knew my new teammates before I came.

"I didn't know the names because it was hard, to be fair, to learn the names. But now I know everyone.
