Kray-on twins...gangsters' childlike drawings up for sale
March 14, 2025
|Scottish Daily Express
FOUR paintings by the Kray twins will go under the hammer later this month. Coming with letters of authenticity, the childlike art will be sold alongside the only portrait that Ronnie and Reggie commissioned of themselves.
The 36 x 28-inch oil painting titled Ronald and Reginald Kray, Down But Not Out was created in 1989 by artist and friend Paul Lake, and is expected to fetch up to £20,000.
The twins were the most notorious gangsters in London during the 1950s and 1960s, but were sentenced to life imprisonment for murder in 1969.
