THE King sugercoated his encounter with Stradivarius yesterday by offering the champion racehorse Polo mints.
Charles, 76, held a sweet in his right hand before rewarding the horse with a stroke on the head. Camilla, 78, followed suit and laughed as Stradivarius loudly crunched.
The King quipped: "At least he didn't bite." To which the Queen replied: "Keep away from their teeth... Now he's looking for more Polos!"
