KILTIE BACK HOME IN KILLIE RETURN

Ex-Saint is one of two arrivals at Rugby Park

GREG KILTIE admits he “jumped” at the chance to return to Kilmarnock after moving from Premiership rivals St Mirren.

The attacking midfielder came through the ranks with boyhood club Killie and was a fans’ favourite after making his debut at the age of just 16.

He made the switch to the Buddies in 2021 when the Ayrshire club were relegated from the top flight, but is now back at his spiritual home after agreeing a two-year contract.

Kiltie can’t wait to get cracking and didn’t have to think too much about the transfer when new Killie boss Stuart Kettlewell came in for him.

The 28-year-old said: “When I heard this could be a possibility I jumped at the chance to get it done and I’m just delighted to be back.
