KABONGOLO WAS ALWAYS ON RADAR

DAVIE MARTINDALE says he didn't have to worry about Brooklyn Kabongolo fitting back in at Livingston - because the big defender never left in the first place.

The 23-year-old (above) made an impressive Premiership debut in last Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Hearts before a frozen pitch denied him another run-out against St Mirren last night.

Kabongolo joined on a two-year deal last summer, his previous stint coming at tier six in England, only to then be sent on loan to Championship high-fliers Arbroath.

The centre-back has now started nine games on the bounce after forcing his way into the part-time team’s backline in November and never looking back.
