CAMMY RUSSELL bagged the winner as Spartans moved six points clear at the top after beating East Kilbride for the second time in as many weeks.

Russell added to James Craigen’s opener as they edged out Kilby 2-1, with Keir Foster on target for the second-top away team.

Russell, who helped put the same side out of the Scottish Cup in round two the week before, said: "We probably didn’t start the best in the game, then once we got the first goal it gave us momentum.
