'It is Putin who is causing the delay in a ceasefire'

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said: “It is Putin who is causing the delay in a ceasefire. Ukraine have long been clear they would have a 30-day unconditional ceasefire and we have long said it’s Putin who is standing in the way of that peace.

“People in Ukraine and across the world have paid the price for Putin’s aggression, now he must pay the price for avoiding peace. Putin’s tactic to dither and delay while continuing to kill and cause bloodshed is intolerable.
