THERE were more show ponies than horses on the course yesterday as Cheltenham celebrated Style Wednesday - and fascinators were definitely a firm favourite.
One race-goer tickled spectators in a towering red feather creation that left her several hands higher in the fashion stakes.
Many rocked up in purple and green on the day they watched the races with Her Majesty the Queen.
