Russell's Bath run in nine tries to rout capital team

EDINBURGH'S Champions Cup hopes are hanging by a thread after they were blown away by Finn Russell's Bath in their final pool game.

The capital club would have finished top of Pool 2 if they had won at the Recreation Ground.

And even if they had only got two bonus points in defeat - one for four or more tries and the other for a narrow defeat - that would have been enough to guarantee them a place in the last 16 of the competition.

But they came nowhere close as the English champions proved far too powerful.
