JIM GOODWIN is hoping Dundee United have emerged from their form dip and can now finish the campaign with a flourish.

The promoted Tannadice side looked in danger of sliding into the Premiership bottom six for the first time this season after a run of seven defeats in 10 league matches, including a demoralising 4-2 derby loss at home to Dundee.
Sunday's 1-0 win at Ross County, however, has all but assured United of a top-six place, kept them in the hunt for a European place and eased the "tension" that Goodwin, left, admits was starting to build.
