Former BGT singer 'raped two women'

A FORMER contestant on Britain’s Got Talent is accused of raping two women, a court heard yesterday.

Andrew Johnston, who sang on the TV talent show in 2008, denies two charges of rape and one of sexual assault, at Southwark Crown Court.

Maryam Syed KC, prosecuting, told jurors yesterday: “He did quite well in that programme.” The alleged offences were a number of years later.
