October 17, 2025
|Scottish Daily Express
FORMER Premier League footballer Said Benrahma was yesterday ordered to pay over £12,000 after his dogs escaped from his home and attacked a golden retriever.
The 30-year-old, who spent four seasons at West Ham after joining in a £30million deal, admitted two counts of owning dangerously out of control pets when he lived in Hornchurch, East London, in 2023.
The XL bullies chased and attacked the retriever called Bailey which was left needing treatment for his injuries by a vet.
The dog's owner, Luke Rehbin, suffered grazes to his arms and legs after grappling with Benrahma's dogs in the street, Willesden Magistrates' Court in London heard.
