DAVID GRAY revealed Hibs have had “positive conversations” aimed at keeping top scorer Martin Boyle beyond the end of this season.
The 32-year-old Australia forward’s contract is due to expire this summer and there has been speculation that he may move abroad.
Manager Gray indicated ahead of today's trip to Celtic Park, however, that an agreement to extend Boyle's stay at Easter Road could be on the cards.
He said: “There’s been real positive chats with all the players [out of contract] and Martin is one of them. There has been a lot of positive conversations about the future and where we think the club can go next season.
“Right now he’s fully focused on playing and my job is to make sure we get the best out of him all the time. I’m delighted with where he is mentally, where he is with his performance levels. We’ve got a week to go until the end of the season and I’m sure everything will be unveiled after that.”
