England and Spurs striker Chivers 'was a true great'

SPURS and England football ace Martin Chivers has died at 80.
The striker was signed by Bill Nicholson from Southampton in 1968 for a record £125,000 and went on to win the League Cup twice as well as the UEFA Cup.
After 367 games and 174 goals for the North London side, Chivers left for Swiss club Servette in 1976. He also netted 13 goals in a total of 24 appearances for England.
