MATT DOHERTY cashed in on some dodgy goalkeeping by Aberdeen's Dimitar Mitov to give Republic of Ireland victory in the first leg of their Nations League play-off.

And the Bulgaria No.1 had to be replaced at the break to spark concern for the Dons.
Marin Petkov fired the hosts into an early lead but Finn Azaz quickly had them level in Plovdiv with his first international goal.
Doherty, inset, completed the comeback by nodding home the winner in the 42nd minute.
