Hoops fume as appeal fails

CELTIC have blasted the SFA for throwing out their bid to overturn Auston Trusty’s red card against Hearts.

Parkhead chiefs insist John Beaton’s intervention after the foul on Pierre Landry Kabore at Tynecastle on Sunday was “not consistent with the rules”.

Celtic have railed against the VAR official (right), insisting he should not have interfered with an on-pitch decision that the visitors feel wasn't a ‘clear and obvious error”.

Their disgruntled reaction comes after the SFA kicked out the club's appeal yesterday. Jambos striker Kabore was hauled down by USA international Trusty as he broke in behind the defence, with referee.
