Catch it while you can...comet won't be back for 1,300 years

IT WAS a shot in the dark but amateur snapper Dawid Glawdzin nailed it when he set out to capture Comet Lemmon.

He took this fantastic image on Saturday from the marshes of Wallasea Island, Essex, armed with his Nikon, a star tracking device and professional telescope.

But the businessman, from Southend-on-Sea, said everyone should try to see the comet before it vanishes. He said: "It's really beautiful and well worth getting out in the dark to see."
