ANN BUDGE will step down as Hearts chair in December.
Working with the Foundation of Hearts, she played a vital role in rescuing the club from financial problems, enabling it to exit administration in 2014.
The announcement comes after Brighton owner Tony Bloom ploughed £9.86million into Hearts in return for a 29% stake in non-voting shares.
