British butterflies 'faring far worse than they should'

THIS year’s Big Butterfly Count has yielded disappointing results despite a hot, sunny summer that should have sent numbers soaring.
A record 125,000 people across Britain recorded how many they spotted in 15 minutes in the garden, park or countryside between July 18 and August 10.
