TONY BLOOM wants to end the Old Firm's duopoly on Scottish football after completing a £9.86million investment in Hearts.
The multi-millionaire Brighton owner, above, also announced he is appointing long-term associate James Franks to the Tynecastle board.
Bloom hopes his involvement in Gorgie will lead to something special as he aims to "disrupt the pattern of domination of Scottish football".
It's four decades since a club outwith Celtic and Rangers won the Scottish title when Aberdeen were crowned champions in 1985, while Hearts themselves agonisingly missing out on the final day the following year.
