As the conflict between Israel and Iran rages on, Indian authorities have begun relocating citizens primarily over 1,500 students, most from Jammu & Kashmir to safer areas within Iran.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirmed on Monday that “other feasible options” for evacuation are under active consideration.
Responding to India’s request, Iran has agreed to facilitate the evacuation of Indian nationals, including diplomats, via land borders, as Iranian airspace remains closed. Tehran has asked India to provide names, passport details, vehicle information, and border preferences for arranging safe passage.
