Aus Opposition withdraws objection to WFH

Australia's opposition party on Monday withdrew its election promises to remove the work-from-home option for public servants to reduce inefficiency and to save by 20 per cent public sector jobs.

Opposition leader Peter Dutton announced that his Liberal party would drop its pledge that public servants would be required to work from their offices five days a week, except for exceptional circumstances. “I think we made a mistake in relation to this policy,” Dutton told Nine Network television. “Our intention was to make sure that where ta
