Asia’s oldest newspaper to digitise rich legacy

Asia's oldest active newspaper, ‘Mumbai Samachar’ is turning a new page in its illustrious history by digitising its rich legacy. Established in 1822 by Parsi scholar Fardunji Marzban, it was first published as a Gujarati daily in 1832.

Itsmanagement has launched a new project to digitise and document its rich legacy.
Located in a colonial-era building in Mumbai's Horniman Circle area, the newspaper has weathered many storms.
