Runcorn FC kick off award-winning season in style with sponsor's new kit marking nine year partnership support

WITH new kit and a much-improved ground, Runcorn Town FC has kicked off an award-winning season in style, all supported by its ongoing sponsorship from Viridor Runcorn.

Energy company Viridor has continued its sponsorship of Runcorn FC with a donation towards new kit and improvements at the ground's clubhouse

Viridor operates the nearby Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) and has made another substantial donation for the 2025/26 season continuing its nine-year partnership with Runcorn FC.

Runcorn's club house is now 60 years old but has recently benefitted significantly from a major expansion - with Viridor's donations helping the club to rewire its clubhouse and the outside toilets.

The club continues to compete in Division One South of the North West Counties Football League while also running two junior teams - under-18s and under-13s.
