Promising young duo agree terms

ACUP Borough continue their preseason preparations as they gear up for another season in the North West Counties League Division One North.

Training sessions have now developed into three two hour sessions per week as the manager and his coaching staff look to get the squad in tiptop condition ahead of what will be yet another challenging season.

It’s also been challenging for the manager Brent Peters who is still in the process of tying up some loose ends in regards to his players. The manager has identified who he wants at the club for the 2025/26 campaign and this week the supporters received good news that both goalkeeper Billy Blake and defender Brady Boardman have signed contracts which will keep them at the Brian Boys Stadium for at least the next twelve months.

Billy Blake, the former Stockport County shot stopper has continued to impress ever since he arrived from Atherton LR at the beginning of last season and his first game away at Holker Old Boys.
