Motorway accident: police say hard-shoulder drivers will be collared

SEVERAL M60 drivers are set to face action after driving down the hard shoulder while the motorway was shut.
A section of the ring road was closed following a crash on the anticlockwise carriageway close to junction 19, near Middleton, last Wednesday afternoon.
Greater Manchester Police attended the scene, alongside paramedics.
